Edward G. Rinard, 82, of New Matamoras passed away on Saturday May 31, 2025, at his residence. He was born September 19, 1942, in New Matamoras to the late Denzil and Mabel Dillon Rinard. He was a finisher at Ormet Corporation and a member of the Bloomfield Church. He was a 50-year member and Past Master of Matamoras Lodge No 374 F & AM, a 33rd degree member of the AASR Valley of Cambridge, a past worthy Patron of Order of Eastern Star No 261, a Past District Deputy Grand Master, a member of Aladdin Shrine, Allied Masonic Degrees, American Union Chapter No. 1 RAM, Royal & Select Masons Council No 78, and Marietta Commandery No 50 KT. Edward is survived by his wife Lamyra Farnsworth Rinard whom he married on September 10, 1961, sons Michael Edward Rinard (Elizabeth) of Belpre, OH., and Eric G. Rinard (Tiffany) of New Matamoras, OH., daughter Jacqueline Gilkeson (Thomas) of Marietta, OH., grandchildren Wesley and Whitney Gilkeson, Nathan Rinard (Jessica), Jordan Rinard (Cinda), Lindsey Van Pelt (Ryan), Kelsey Webster and Isabella, Grace and Ethan Rinard, 5 great grandchildren, brothers Roger, Loren and Kenneth Rinard and special friends the Curtis grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gary. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 4,2025 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St. Marietta, OH., with Erin Curtis, Kim Smith and Chris Wells officiating. Burial to follow in Muskingum Valley Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home with a Masonic and O.E.S services at 8 PM.
