Mary E. McPeek, 89, Newport, OH, passed away Thursday June 5, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, OH. Born in Sly, OH, on November 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Elanor Gracey Cline. She was a homemaker and beautician. She attended Southern School and was a 1953 graduate of Newport High School. Mary was a member of Newport Baptist Church, where she was financial secretary for 20 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula (Richard) Brown, and Nancy McPeek, one son, Robert (Angie) McPeek; seven grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Campbell, Mitchell (Sheila) Campbell, Heidi (Chris) Comstock, Quinton (Alissa) McPeek, Jennifer (David) Brannan, Jeremy Brown, and James (Hanna) Brown; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, John (Sharon) Cline; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Gordon Junior McPeek.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Newport Baptist Church with Pastor Kent Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV and from noon to 1 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
