Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lenore Lowe, 91, passed away peacefully at Appletree Assisted Living in Barlow, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones.
Lenore was a lifelong resident of Little Hocking, Ohio. Born on September 11, 1933, to Emory and Cora Stallard Stacy, Lenore was the youngest of 12 brothers and sisters: Nora Gentry, Luther Stacy, Walter "Buddy" Stacy, Bertha Randolph, Chester Stacy, Clyde Stacy, Ruby Keller, Pearl Thorne, Florence Wyatt, Robert Stacy, and Lonnie Stacy.
She grew up working in the Stacy family grocery store from the time she could stand on a crate and see over the counter. Her favorite job was scooping ice cream.
A graduate of Belpre High School, she married Thomas J. "T.J." Lowe on Thanksgiving day, November 27, 1952, at the home of her parents. T.J. and Lenore were married for 58 years. Lenore worked at Sears in Parkersburg, WV for 10 years and managed the customer service department until she became a full-time mother to daughters Teresa J. "Teri" Lowe and Loretta L. "Lori" Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cora and Emory, husband T.J., son-in-law Rick Nevels, and all her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by daughters Teri (Louisville, KY) and Lori (Marietta, OH), granddaughter Stacy Harra (Little Hocking, OH), great-grandson Diesel Harra (Waterford, OH), great-granddaughter Shelby Place (Little Hocking, OH), sisters-in-law Mary Jane Stacy (Waterford, OH) and Lucille Burgess (Belpre, OH), and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Saturday July 12, 2025, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery Belpre. Visitation will be Saturday 11am-1pm. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com.
