Clyde Raymond Tidd Jr., 87, of Newport, went to his heavenly home on August 28th, surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born on March 28th 1938, to the late Clyde Raymond and Mary (Duffy) Tidd. He graduated from Newport High School in 1956. In 1960 Raymond started his career with American Producers, which lasted for 65 years. Raymond became a cornerstone of American Producers, known for his work ethic, industry knowledge and the genuine care he showed to his customers and coworkers. His hobbies included NASCAR racing, horseback riding, camping and most of all spending time with family. On June 6th 1998 he married the love of his life Barbara Lane whom resides at their home in Newport. He leaves behind his children Cheryl (Dave) Blankenship, J.T (Kim) Binegar, Jamie (Ben) Farmer, grandchildren Jessica and David Blankenship (Adrian), Ashley (Shaun) Hammer, Jacob (Emily) Binegar, Peyton and Tyler Farmer, great grandchildren Daylan and Aspen Hammer, Mason and Magnolia Binegar, sister Carolyn Smith, several nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers and his beloved farm dog Sarah. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Tommy, Ronnie, Allen, Delbert and Earl, sisters Mary Hanes, Lucille Greathouse and Ruby McElfresh. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday August 31st, 2025, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with burial to follow in Newport Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday August 30th, from 4-8 PM and again on Sunday one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Cawley Hospice, 2730 Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH 45714.
