Lyn Mendenhall, 79, of Reno, OH, passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born November 12,1945 in Marietta, OH, to the late Wilmer C. and Edna Ruth Rose Kuhn. Lyn worked as a manager at People’s News never meeting a stranger. She was involved with the Reno Vol. Fire Dept. in the ladies auxiliary and an EMS squad member. Lyn is survived by sons Chris and Bill Mendenhall (Leah), daughters Tammy Wilson (Kyle) and Melissa Wyatt (Aaron), grandchildren Cole Wilson, John Mendenhall, Alyssa Vandale, Amy Cross and Coltin Smathers, great grandchildren Addison and Cooper Gherke, brother Brian Kuhn (Cindy) and a sister Debbie Kuhn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Mendenhall, brothers Gary and Scott Kuhn and a sister Janine Arrowood. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16th, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with Fr. Gene Sheppard officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
