Teddy “Ted” Bruce Hill, 72, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Teddy was born June 6, 1953 in Marietta to Earl and Audrey (Rutherford) Hill.

He graduated from Marietta High School. Teddy was a veteran of the United States Army.

He belonged to Laborer’s Local 639. Teddy was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He belonged to the Moose Lodge 1823, Elks 477 where he was past Exalted Ruler, Masonic Lodge 308, and VFW Post 5108. Teddy loved going to auctions, spending time with his family, friends, grandkids, great grandkids, and his dog Tiny.

Teddy will be deeply missed by his daughters Teddi (Samuel) Thompson and Traci (Cody Hays) Russell; grandchildren Kiara (Chris) Hugelheim, Jagerd (Abbi) Schwaben, Kaitlyn, Breanna and Micah Thompson, Shayla (Jake) Bostic, Rileigh (Caleb) Russell, Kalie and Zoe Russell; great grandchildren Azaeyleigh, Atraeyus, Reign, Azariah, Kayden, Averie, Ashlynn, Realynn, Wyatt, Lincoln, Opie, Zailur and Calloway; brother-in-law Rick Snodgrass; sisters-in-law Charlene Hill and Bonnie Hill; as well as many nieces and nephews, especially Jimmy Woodward.

In addition to his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by his son Justin Reed Hill; nephew Jerry Woodward. He was also the last surviving sibling of the Hill clan to pass; Jimmy Hill, Max Hill, Ronald Hill, Larry Hill, Rex Hill, Shirley Wheeler, Sharon Strickler, Judith Snodgrass, Cathy Daugherty, Kenneth Hill, Lowell Hill, Theora Miller, Delores Grub, Phyllis Ullman, Beulah Patterson and Irene Miller.
