Cody Cline, a cherished son, brother, and uncle, a friend to many, and a beacon of positivity and generosity to his beloved community, passed away at the age of 45.

Born on April 20, 1980, in Marietta, Ohio to Ralph and the late Kim Cline, Cody’s life was a testament to the power of a kind heart and a radiant spirit. As Maya Angelou once said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Cody made people feel seen, valued, and loved.

Cody was the successful owner of Cline Electrical Solutions, a role that enabled him to express his creativity, his commitment to quality craftsmanship, and his desire to make a difference in people’s everyday lives. Beyond his work, Cody was an avid lover of the outdoors, often found biking, kayaking or hiking, exploring the beauty of nature, and spreading his infectious laughter along the way. His love for music was one of his other passions where he attended many concerts with family and friends.

Cody’s love was not confined to people alone. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his three dogs, Irie, Kahn, and Ringo, who were like family to him. His generosity and giving spirit were always on display, notably through his regular donations and contributions to the community of Columbus.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are his father Ralph Cline (Connie Morris), his sister Kelly (Aaron) Kincaid, niece Layne Kincaid whom he loved and cherished like his own, and grandfather Glen Cline.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kim Cline, and grandparents Don and Marie Greene, and Ruth Cline.
