Frank Burton Stalnaker, 93, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, on his birthday. He was born October 7, 1932, in Bergoo, WV, to the late Joseph and Roxie Mae Minear Stalnaker. Frank worked as a Pipefitter for Ormet Corporation for 37 years retiring in 1995. He graduated from Matamoras High School in 1953 and served in Korea from 1953-55 and was a member of the Matamoras Historical Society being a life member, Matamoras Senior Citizens and the Matamoras Alumni Association. He was an avid picture taker and enjoyed motorcycles. Frank is survived by his children Ronald, Dereck and Loyde Stalnaker (Becky), Chandra Davis (Ray) all of New Matamoras and Serena Stalnaker of Fly, OH, seven grandchildren Jason and Joshua Stalnaker (Leigh Ann), Kyle, Heather and Shawn Ogaz (Natasha), Jerry Jones Jr. (Sheryl), and Yolanda Knapp and eight great grandchildren, cousin Raynell Minear and several close friends John Miller, Ruth Piatt and Don Holdren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Slonaker and Jessie Hackathorn and a grandson Justin Jones. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Hadley Funeral Home New Matamoras with Jerry Slonaker officiating with burial to follow in Matamoras Cemetery.
