Gene Weihl, 95, of Marietta, passed away on August 20, 2025, at OSU Medical Center from complications of a stroke. Gene was an Air Force veteran and the long-time owner of Weihl Furniture and Appliance.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 76 years, Kathryn, his three children Wendy (Steve) Hille, Karen (Barry Dennis) and Gene II, as well as 4 grandchildren, Aaron and Eric Hille and Chase and Chance Weihl, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Gene was above all a family man always thinking of his family first and was the "Grandpa fix it" for anything needing repair. He showed his family the true meaning of unconditional love. He will be greatly missed. There will be no service.
