Patricia Louise (Patty Lou) Shaffer (Gentry), 69 years young, passed away, peacefully, in her sleep, November 20th, 2025. She loved to listen to music, sing, laugh at jokes, do crossword puzzles, play games, go to garage sales, decorate, care for her mother and be a mom herself. She worked for the postal service, in retail and in healthcare. She was a thoughtful wife, daughter, sister, mother and friend to those she knew and to many she didn't. She held on to the most precious things in this world, life and love. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Walston, her brother, Paul Shaffer, her mother, Patricia Papes, and her father, Paul Shaffer. She will be truly missed by her son David Shaffer (Kate), her remaining siblings, Phil Shaffer (Lisa), Pamela Boreman (Bob), Penny Rockwell (Jerry), Edward Papes (Tammy), as well as her nieces and nephews, friends, in-laws and anyone else who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed but there is comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
