Robert F. "Bob" Kenney Jr., went to be with our Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 6, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. He was 80 years old. He was born in New Martinsville, WV, on June 20, 1945 to Robert and Edith D. Loveall Kenney of Antioch, OH. He graduated from River High School in 1963. Bob married Carol Ann Stoehr on April 18, 1965 and shared a life with her for 57 years until her death in 2022. He is a United States Marine Corps Veteran proudly serving his country from 1966 to 1968. He was a long-time employee of Kardex, then the WV Department of Corrections until he retired in 2006.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his sister, Sandy Resecker, and brother, Gene Kenney.
He is survived by his son, Terry (Becky) Kenney; two grandsons, Andrew Kenney, and Jacob Anderson; siblings, Joyce Stoller, Linda (Fred) Stoehr, Kathy (Jim) Eckleberry, Connie (Kevin) Norris, Gary (Melynda) Kenney, David Kenney, Timothy (Shirley) Kenney, and William (Michelle) Kenney; sister-in-law, Tammy Kenney, brother-in-law, Bob (Denise) Stoehr; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special lady in his life Priscilla Knight.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with John Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, OH. Friends may call from 12 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tunnels 2 Towers, T2T.org.
