In Loving Memory of Barbara Faith Cobb Collier
Barbara Collier, a generous, caring woman whose welcoming smile could brighten any room, passed away on November 28, 2025. Born March 17, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, to Elmer and Elsie Cobb, Barb grew into a woman of kindness, faith, and unwavering love. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Dr. Evelyn Brown and Carol Cocklin.
Barb is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Rod, and their loving daughters: Brenda Miscovich (Greg), Kim Knight (Rob), and Candi Schob (Andy). She is also survived by her brother, Don Cobb (Barb), and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Her joy lived brightly in her grandchildren: Luke Jackson (Terrilynn), Aubrey Dos Santos (Yuri), Emily Jackson (Preston), Megan Scheid (Zach), Mandy Moster (Dave), Kristen Overbeck (Rob), Colin Knight, Jason Schob (Brittany), Tiffany Smith (Gunnar), Heidi Linder (Tate), Evan Schob (Haylee), Addie Schob, and step-granddaughter Renee Miscovich. She was further blessed with 21 great-grandchildren who brought her endless delight. Barb was known for her genuine interest in others, her gift for listening, and her constant, encouraging presence. Her love for God and her church family shaped her life and guided the kindness she shared with everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and love that will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.
A special thank you to the Marietta Memorial Hospital staff and Hospice staff for their love and tender care to Barb as she journeyed through her final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, immediately followed by the funeral service.
Pastor Kevin D'Ettorre will preside over the service. Burial will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park.
