Dorothy Odena Farley, 92, of Marietta, OH, made her final journey on November 26th at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on November 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Carlos and Fannie Linscott. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1953. She obtained her Nurses Aide degree, where she worked various jobs around Marietta and Athens OH. She married the late Herbert L. Farley on October 14, 1956. Following their marriage they had three children, Rick L. Farley (Linda), Pamela S. Duffy (Tom) and Tiffany A. Shank (Mike), six grandchildren, Bambi Oliver (Brad), Joshua Miller, Clinton Farley (Jennifer), Bryar Gill (Andrew), Amber Lovelace (Jason), Hydia Farnsworth (Andy) and twenty great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son and two brothers. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, December 3rd at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet family and friends before the service from 12-2 PM. Great appreciation to Amedisys Hospice staff and her two caregivers Joann Allen and Ashley Oliver.
