Janice Marie Sarver, 79, of Marietta, OH, passed away December 16, 2025, at Waterview Pointe in Marietta. She was born May 4, 1946, in Marietta to the late Harold and Doris Martin West. Janice worked as a cook for the Washington Co. Career Center. She is survived by her daughters Teresa Markle and Tallarie Stewart (Tom), grandchildren Joe Stewart (Erin) and Marisa Martin (Scott) and great grandchildren Brock, Dane, Walker and Sawyer Stewart and Garrett Martin, sisters Sheryl Morgenstern (Paul) and Brenda Holmes (Charlie) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant baby son Albert Edward Jr., her husband Albert Sarver, son-in-laws DeWayne Markle and Robert Gessel, sister Nancy Lee and brother Richard West, Sister-in-laws Sue Martin, Thelma Wright (Howard) and Helen, mother-in-law Matilda Sarver, brother-in-laws Gerald Sarver (Shirley) and Cecil Sarver (Donna) and her beloved dog Little One. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Waterview Pointe and Amedisys Hospice as well as her caring caregivers and special friends Tabby Slack and Celia Clark. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2025, at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta.
