Karen Louise Sinclair
Karen Louise Sinclair, 75, of Williamstown, went home to be with The Lord December 19, 2025 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home in Parkersburg. She passed peacefully, with her husband by her side after a long battle with dementia. She was born May 13, 1950, a daughter to the late Charles Warman and Donna Oliver.
She graduated from Marietta High School in Marietta, Ohio with the Class of 1969 and continued her education at Washington County Technical College. Before retiring, she worked at My Favorite Things and Hallmark. She was a member of Burnt Hill United Methodist Church and enjoyed attending services at the Crossroads Open Air Sanctuary in her later years.
She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, baking birthday cakes, cooking, swimming, collecting figurines, loved warm weather and traveling with her daughter. She ultimately loved spending time with her family and especially her daughter.
Surviving Karen is her husband of 51 years Doug “Old Dog” Sinclair; daughter Misty SInclair (Brian) of Humble, TX; sister Jill McCoy (Mike) of Marietta, OH; brothers Jeff Basinger (Jackie) of Purcellville, VA, Bruce Warman (Marvella) of Bowling Green, OH and Dave Warman of Mount Hope, WV ; her beloved pet Tinkerbell, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents.
A service for Karen will be held Saturday, December 27, at 2:30 pm, at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Visitation will be held the same day from 12:30 -2:30 pm. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Leavitt Family Center across 7th Street from the funeral home.
