Carolyn A. Buck, 75, New Matamoras, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Born in St. Marys, WV, on November 17, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Donald Harold and Effa Betty Gregg Cox. She was a 1969 graduate of Frontier High School and was a member of Mt. Hope Free Will Baptist Church, Marr, OH. She enjoyed camping, boating, and cooking.
She is survived by two sons, Brian (Tracy) Buck, and Donald (Heather) Buck; two granddaughters, Rebecca (Travis) Jackson, and Katelyn Buck; two brothers, Rex (Pam) Cox, and Chad (Lisa) Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cleo Buck, and two brothers, Denny and Gregg.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Maple Lane Free Will Baptist Church, Hebron, WV, with Pastor Rex Cox and Pastor Tom Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, and from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday at the church. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
