Clyde (Skip) Hearn, Jr., 78, of Maineville, Ohio, passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 29, 2026.
Skip was born in Marietta, Ohio, in 1947 to Clyde and Mary Lou Hearn. He attended Warren High School before taking over the family's construction business, known as Clyde Hearn Jr. Construction. He enjoyed a wonderful career building homes for families to enjoy in the Marietta area. He was a lover of family, travel, the great outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Skip was the beloved husband of Linda Hearn, devoted father of Travis (Charla) Hearn, Tracy (Joe) Carter, and Trevor Hearn. Faithful brother to his sister Sherry (Jerry) Maddox. Blessed grandfather to Addison Hearn, Ansen Hearn, Ethan Hearn, Lily Hearn, Gwyneth Hearn, Aariana Carter, Kennedi Carter and many extended grandchildren in Joe & Tracy Carter's family. Cherished uncle to Brandi (Joe) Weber, Chip (Christina) Knight and Brett (Elizabeth) Knight.
He was preceded in death by his son Travis Hearn, sister Patti Knight and parents Clyde & Mary Lou Hearn.
A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held for family. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Rivers Crossing Church in Mason, Ohio.
