Raymond J. Witten, 82, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born December 25, 1943, in Ravenna, OH., to the late William and Ella Storm Witten. Ray worked 40 – plus years at Ormet as a Supervisor and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta and was a faithful Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He is survived by his daughter Susan Malone, son Bill Witten, grandchildren Tiffany Cleveland (Brandon), John Witten, Evan Owens (Lyndsey) and Bailey Owens (Jonah), great grandchildren Emery and Maverick Cleveland and Gunner Witten, sisters Mary Jane Taylor and Rachel Edgar (Dave) and his companion Sue Ewing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jane Ann Roberts Witten, grandson Derek LaBarre and sister Virginia Blosser. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 27th at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel 1021 Pike St., Marietta with burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
