Todd William Stockel, 65, of Marietta, OH., passed away peacefully Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his residence. Todd was born August 25, 1960, in DuBuque, Iowa, to William and Dorothy Pollock Stockel. Todd retired from the City of Marietta as the Street Superintendent. The love of his life was bird hunting and his grandson Erik and Freya his beautiful pet. Todd is survived by his wife Sheryl Grimes Stockel, son Adam Hossman and grandson Erik Hossman, siblings Tom (Sherry) Stockel, Paula (Virgil) Price, Amy Stamper Stockel, Mary Beth (John) Fee, Tim (Peggy) Stockel and Laura Stockel Range all of Iowa and Doug (Kerry) Stockel of California. Special thanks to Dr. Kelli Cawley and Cawley Hospice who were truly a God send. In abiding with his wishes there will be no service or viewing and per his wishes a small celebration of his life will be held by planting a willow tree he requested.
