Barbara Ellen Carpenter

Barbara Ellen Carpenter, 52, of Marietta, gained her angel wings at 2:35 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 17, 1973, in Marietta to Argie Hall and Marjorie Kuhn Hall. Barbara was formerly employed at HAVAR and was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ.

On October 10, 2021, she married Sean Carpenter who survives with daughter Kelly Mugrage both of Marietta and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Charlotte (Danny) Wright of Marietta, Mary Smith of Marietta, Jim (Susie) Hall of Virginia, and George Hall of Marietta, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother Argie Hall, Jr. a sister Donna Hall, step daughter Angela Carpenter and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday February 16, 2026, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Feathers officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
