Janice M. Mendenhall
Janice M. Mendenhall, 85, Newport, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her home. Born in Eureka, WV, on May 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Claire Harper Cameron. She attended St. Marys High School and was a member of 3FC Ministries. Janice was a praying woman and loved her family. She enjoyed painting and crocheting. She was a true matriarch and supporter of her family.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Mendenhall and Tim (Brenda Mendenhall; two grandsons, Greg (Harlee) Mendenhall and Cody (Britney) Mendenhall; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Mae Mendenhall; two sisters, Joann (Gene) Martin, and Mary Ross; one brother, Bill (Joanna) Cameron; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Blain Mendenhall.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV, with Pastor Tim Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery.
