Ronald M. Ohmer, 69, Marietta, OH, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born in Marietta, OH, on June 19, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles E. Ohmer and Carol Lumm Sanders. He was a cable man for Suddenlink and Charter Communications. He assisted his daughter in construction. He also worked for Shaddix TV. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post #64.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Minerva Otarra Ohmer; one daughter, Bobbi Jo (Heather) Ohmer; one son Charles (Tracy) Ohmer; three grandchildren, Braedyn, Alexis, and Abigail; five great-grandchildren, Zeke, Nevaeh, Rowan, Darion, and Archer’ one sister, Suzanne Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Charles Ohmer.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M.
