Kassandra Jo “Kassie” Doak

Kassandra Jo “Kassie” Doak, age 42, of Waterford, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Kassandra was born in Marietta, Ohio, to Thomas and Lois Doak. She grew up on the family farm in Waterford and was a proud graduate of Waterford High School, Class of 2001.

Kassandra will be remembered for her kind heart and the deep love she had for her family. She was a devoted mother, and her greatest joy in life was her three sons.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Lois Doak of Waterford; her three sons, the light of her life, Dustin Doak of Waterford, Dillian Doak-Craig of Caldwell, and Thomas Dickson-Doak of Colorado; her maternal grandmother, Christine Gross of Waterford, Ohio; her brothers, Donald Longwell of Zanesville, Ohio, and Chris (Cinda) Doak of McConnelsville, Ohio; her sister, Samantha (Nate) Simpson of Waterford, Ohio; and her sister-in-law, Fantasy Green (Doak) of Marietta, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Russ and Hela Porter of Cambridge, Ohio; her paternal grandparents, Alph and Bebe Doak of Waterford, Ohio; Nick Gross of Waterford, Ohio; and her brother, Michael Doak.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Christy Combs officiating with graveside services to follow at the family farm in Waterford, Ohio. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Wednesday and 9-11 am on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
