Elaine Fisher

Elaine Fisher of Waterford, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, which was her 65th birthday.

She was born in Beverly, Ohio, to Audrey Brooker and the late Donald Brooker. Elaine was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Catholic Women’s Club in Beverly, Ohio. She is a graduate of Fort Frye High School, Class of 1979.

She cherished the time she spent with her mother, often alongside her siblings, offering care, support, and companionship.

Elaine, along with her husband Mike, played/coached softball for Elston Lumber and later for Marietta Savings. Elaine was the first women’s softball pitcher who played on a co-ed team to pitch a no hitter. The team won many state tournament titles and traveled around the U.S.

Elaine and Mike shared a love of deer hunting, treasuring the time spent with family and friends in the pursuit of the biggest buck. She proudly held the honor of becoming a member of the Boone and Crockett Club.

She was a member of the Hilliard Tractor Club where she is remembered for her “Blue Thunder” and “Blue Too” pro stock garden tractors. The blue was attributed to her admiration for Richard Petty. She served as the secretary and enjoyed traveling for many tractor pulls with her pulling family.

Elaine always looked forward to the weekends attending Kurt’s bow shoots and planning their vacations and adventures together.

She is survived by her special friend, Kurt Naistetler; her mother, Audrey; sisters Cathy Crock (Gary) and Martha Fliehman (Tom); brothers Sam and Mike Brooker (Lori); stepdaughter, Melissa Fisher (Tim Cunningham); and sister-in-law, Sharon Brooker.
