Regina L. Young, 76, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta.

She was born in Marietta on September 16, 1949, to the late Elmer and Theora Hill Miller.

Regina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, David, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Warden (Brian) of Mount Pleasant, SC; her son, Jeffrey Young (Jamey) of Marietta, OH; and her beloved grandchildren, Reid Warden, Kelton Young, Avery Warden, and Rylee Young.

Regina will be remembered for her strong will and independent spirit, as well as her deep love for her home, her farm, and her privacy. She found peace and joy in her garden and took great pride in caring for the life she built there.

She also had a remarkable way of staying connected to those she loved. As a devoted grandmother, she never missed a birthday, holiday card, or gift for her grandchildren, always making sure they felt remembered and special.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Miller; her sister, Ellen Miller; and her infant grandson, Caleb Young.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Coats 4 Children this fall, a cause close to Regina’s heart.
