Robert E. Garvin

Robert E. Garvin, 54, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at his home. He was born on March 18, 1972 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Dana John Garvin and Jessie Combs Garvin. Robert graduated from Fort Frye High School and the Career Center in 1990 and became a welder, working for Buckeye Coal Company and several other companies in the area. Most recently he was a driver for Buckeye Transit Company. Robert loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and shoot, enjoyed drag racing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his companion, Kimberly L. Middy of Beverly; two children, Robert Warden Jr. (Kayla) of Neelysville and Amanda Cozzens (Shawn) of Marietta; five grandchildren, Rosie, Raylee, Shawn Jr., Teagan and Jameson; and expecting a new grandchild, Lincoln; his loving dog companion, Bailey; three brothers, Dana Garvin of Beverly, Mike Garvin of Beverly, David Garvin (Lisa) of Lowell and a sister, Betty Lang of Beverly; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Robert will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with burial in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
