Brian Tucker “Tuck”, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home. He was born November 7, 1956, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Carl and Leilia (Stutler) Tucker.
Brian was a 1975 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He married Sherri Hughes on July 16, 2007.
Brian retired from Momentive Performance Materials, Friendly, WV in 2011 and was a member of First Baptist Church Williamstown. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church Men’s Softball League, St. Mary’s, Warren and Reno Volunteer Fire Departments, Iron Butt Award Association, the National Power Lifting League, and was a Camp Cowen Church Counselor.
He enjoyed weightlifting, woodworking, hunting, fishing, auto mechanics, and watching football especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes and riding his Harley Davidson.
Brian had a strong Christian faith and was a God-fearing man who read his bible every day. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, his family came right after God. Brian never met a stranger and had a habit of always running into someone he knew, even on vacation. He was always willing to help anyone, especially his neighbors. He was known for his sense of humor, always teasing and giving servers a hard time. Brian loved old country music – Hank, Johnny, Willie and Waylon. He would often sing while he mowed the grass. He also loved his country, and would often stop veterans, shake their hands and thank them for their service.
He will be missed by his wife, Sherri; children, Brandy (Carlos) Duarte, Lacey (Josh) Bennett, Harry David Mitchell, Morgan Hughes, Zach (Gracey) Hughes and Tim Farley; grandchildren Cedar, Milo, and Piper Bennett, Rylan Mitchell, Hope, Kobe and Adria Hughes; brother Scott (Liz) Hartman and sister, Brenda Tucker; niece Alisha Williams.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brothers Tom and Fred Tucker, and sister Barbara Tucker.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 1 to 3 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750. Memorial contributions may be made in Brian’s name to WV Baptist Camp, 276 Baptist Camp Rd., Cowen, WV 26206.
