It is with profound sorrow the family of Jonathan Andrew Arnold announces his peaceful passing on June 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Jonathan was born on February 27, 1977 in Marietta, OH, to Ivan and Joyce Ann Arnold. He graduated from Washington County Career Center from the automotive technology program in 1995. Jonathan went on to attend college at Washington State College.
Jonathan is survived by his loving parents Ivan and Joyce Arnold of Lowell, OH. The youngest of four he is survived by his siblings: Brian (Shelly) Arnold, Nathan (Missy) and Jenny Arnold. Jonathan is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Jessica Marie Arnold and their twins Reid Wayne and Emilie Rowen Ann; beloved eldest daughter, Shelby Renee Arnold, and many nieces and nephews.
Jonathan is preceded in death via his grandparents John “Bill” and Mildred Arnold and Kenneth E. and Janette R. Parks and a daughter Taylor Mae.
Jonathan loved spending time with his loving family and enjoyed being a father most of all. He was a calm, steady support for his family, could always fix and repair anything and everything that came along. Enjoyed puzzles and games. He would never back down from hard work.
He had a passion for dirt track racing. He had owned many sport mods and many other race cars over the years. Enjoying many days in the garage and nights at the track. Making many friends through the years within the sport. None closer than Jonathon Barnes and Dusty Boley who are considered to be brothers.
Jonathan was dedicated to his community through 28 years as a volunteer firefighter with the departments of Oakgrove, Little Muskingum and Little Hocking. Through Jonathan’s work career, racing hobby, and volunteer time, he made a multitude of many close friends over the years.
