Lloyd E. Warfield

Lloyd E. Warfield, 86, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 11, 1939, in Elba, Ohio, son of Charles E. and Eunice Maye Carter Warfield. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1957 and had worked at Elkem Metals in Marietta as a supervisor and chemical operator for 26 years before his retirement. He is survived by his extended family, Mike Moore and Doris of Marietta, Bob Moore and Diane of Waterford, Tony Moore and Annie of Syracuse, NY and Carolyn Moore of Miami, Florida; Brian Moore (Kelly), Chelsie Stats (Cole), Joey Moore (Alex) and Kimberly Singer (Nathan).  

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his companion of 18 years, Frances Moore; and extended family member Roger Moore.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Gravel Bank Cemetery near Marietta with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly is in charge of the arrangements and online condolences may be made by visiting www.mccurdyfh.com.
