Marilyn Jeane Wehr Keylor, 88, of Vienna, WV, formerly of Beverly, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at her daughter's home in Vienna surrounded by her loving son and daughter. She was born on November 28, 1937 in Noble County, Ohio, daughter of Richard B. Wehr and Helen E. Watson. Marilyn graduated from Summerfield High School and dedicated 30 years of service to The Citizens Bank Company in Beverly before her retirement in 1999. She was a faithful member of the Beverly Methodist Church and the Beverly American Legion Auxiliary Post 389. On November 24, 1956, she married the love of her life, Joseph F. Keylor. Together they shared a devoted marriage until his passing on December 21, 2005. They were blessed with three children, Scott Allen Keylor, who preceded her in death on March 9, 1967; Steven Lee (Tanya) Keylor of Grandview, Tennessee; and Alison Monique Keylor Donahue of Vienna, West Virginia. Marilyn was a proud grandmother to David Ray (Emily) Keylor, Jared Scott Donahue and Garret William Donahue and was especially delighted to become the great-grandmother of Noah James Keylor. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Watson (Jody Polen). In addition to her husband and son, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents. Marilyn will be remembered for her quite strength, devotion to her family, attending as many sporting events as she could to support her grandson's and their sporting events and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home with Steve Wainwright officiating. Burial will be in the Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield, Ohio.
