Ricky L. Browning, 72, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026. He was born on April 11, 1954, in Marietta, Ohio.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy Browning and Pauline Browning.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Browning; his daughter, Kimberly; his son, John, and daughter-in-law, Shelly; six cherished granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (LuAnn) Browning of Pennsylvania, as well as several beloved aunts, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Rick retired from Thermo-Fisher Scientific in Marietta, Ohio, after many years of dedicated service. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He also had a lifelong love of fly fishing, hunting, and playing the drums, hobbies that brought him happiness and created lasting memories with those who shared them.

Rick will be remembered for his love of family, his kind heart, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Reno Volunteer Fire Department in Rick’s memory.
