Danny Eugene Bohl, 87, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away on July 30, 2026.
Danny was born to Benjamin and Maxine Bohl on March 22, 1939, in Marietta, Ohio. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1957, and then graduated with a Mechanical Engineer Degree from the University of Alabama-Huntsville, AL. He worked for TVA starting in 1974 until he retired.
Called “Dirty Dan” by his wife for his love of fixing anything and at times being covered in dirt from yardwork. Danny was constantly moving and staying busy. He was an excellent cook, very precise in details, enjoyed building model airplanes, loved family genealogy/history and even took up playing the guitar after retiring, and loved fast cars. His pride and joy was the red BMW with gold wheels that he once owned.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Maxine Bohl.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne Bohl; sister, Cheryl (Terry), Congleton and nephew Keith Congleton.
