Betty Diane Gillis, 73, of Fleming, OH., passed away September 18, 2026 at Arbors at Marietta. She was born February 3, 1953 to the late James and Katheryn Butler Williams. Diane worked for over 25 years as a Corrections Officer for the Washington County Sheriffs Department. She is survived by her children, David Gillis (Sammi),Dale Gillis Jr. (Dolores) and Amy Owens, 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother James Williams, sisters Clara Maidens and Helen Reed and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Allen Gillis, son-in-law Jay Taylor and sisters Jean Hardman and Irene Kirk.
