Dorothy Langsdorf Taylor Minger, 101, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026. She was born August 17, 1925 in Monroe County, OH, to the late Louis and Biddie Bright Langsdorf. Dorothy retired from The Peoples Savings Bank in New Matamoras and was a member of the Matamoras Baptist Church. She was an honorary member of the Matamoras High School and was the custodian of the Peoples Saving Bank and Dr. Duncan’s office. She made beautiful cakes for many years. On March 28, 1991 she married James F. Minger and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2008. She is survived by her daughters Dianne Longfellow, Linda Kirkbride, Rosalind Moore and Julie Edwards (Roger), grandchildren Dale Cline (Angela), Jarrod Edwards (Alisha), Wendy Sue Moore and Emily Turner (Owen), great grand children Rylee Edwards, Revel Turner and Maddix Turner, extended family Aaron Moore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Minger and brothers Ralph, John and Harold Langsdorf. Funeral services will be held at Hadley Funeral Home New Matamoras on Thursday October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM with John Felton officiating. Burial to follow at Matamoras Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. on Wednesday September 30, 2026.
