Cathy Lynn Greenlees, 62, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on October 2, 2026, at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She was born in Marietta to Chester D. "Bud" and Barbara (Poulton) Greenlees on December 27, 1963. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1982.
Cathy found joy in all things creative. She loved crafting, arranging flowers, and hunting for vintage and antique treasures. Cathy had a beautiful soul and loved with her whole heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who was blessed enough to cross her path. To her loved ones, Cathy will be remembered most by her infectious sense of humor and her ability to bring warmth and light to all. Her strength, grace, and quick wit stayed with her until her final moments. The love she gave so freely and the laughter she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Her love of life will live on through her daughter, Larynn Cutshaw; sister, Tami Patterson (Ron); Kim Jones (Dave); niece, Stevi Heslop; many beloved nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; close friends Randy Wright and Ralph "Bub" Paulus; and the countless other family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
Waiting to welcome her were her parents; brother, Jeffrey Greenlees; grandparents Lloyd H. and Lottie (Rogers) Poulton, Chester C. "Chet" and Juanita (Wenzel) Greenlees; and Tom Harris.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Wrangler Tavern (Whipple, OH). Friends and family are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor a life full of love and laughter.
In loving memory of Cathy, a memorial fund has been established to support the family with final expenses. Contributions can be made to the "Cathy Greenlees Memorial Fund" at any branch of The Citizens Bank Co.
