Francis E. Miller, 83, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at his home. He was born on July 28, 1943, in Waterford, Ohio, son of Wilfred H. and Mary Ida Belle Province Miller. Francis had worked at Globe Metallurgical for many years and had also helped on the family farm and feed mill for a long time. He attended Waterford High School and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Waterford Grange, Washington County Farm Bureau, Waterford Fair Board and was an honorary member of the Waterford FFA. He had a great love for farming and always enjoyed going to tractor pulls around the area. On September 4, 1965, he was married to Ora Jo Gray Miller who died on October 6, 1996. Francis is survived by four sons, Mike Miller (Penny), Christopher Miller (Teresa), Jeremy Miller (Michelle) and Aaron Miller (Alicyn); two daughters, Lisa Beans (Donald) and Pamela Duskey (Gary); thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Marcella McCall and Sue Schwendeman. Francis was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a brother, Laurence Miller; two sisters, Donna Fullen and Carol Coffman; and a grandson, Willie Beans.
Funeral services with Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2026, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Beverly with Father Tim Kozak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday with a Rosary service at 8:00 pm at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
