Hamilton Bradley Bole, 70, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026. He was born on August 28th, 1956 in Concord MA, to Hamilton Biggar Bole Jr, and Theresa Mary Coutant-Bole.
Throughout Brad's life, he enjoyed the exceptional things, which included fine dining, a beautiful taste in music, and of course, The Boston Red Sox.
Brad was an avid reader, a lover of history, and a man with a curious yet thoughtful mind. His passion for learning and conversation was evident from his early days at Marietta College where he happened to not only host his own radio show, but also meet the person who would push his curious mind farther than anyone else could, his future wife, Babette.
Throughout his career, Brad worked as a pharmaceutical rep, a financial advisor, and of course an ambassador to The Wine Shop in downtown Marietta, before eventually retiring. He was a generous spirit and would donate his time and energy to select causes and organizations. But no matter where he was working or what he was doing, he continued to build lifelong friendships with everyone he encountered.
Above all, Brad cherished his family. He is survived by his sons, H. Alexander Bole (Kelly) of Cleveland, Ohio, and Christopher G Bole (Aaron) of New York City, New York; sister Katherine T. McClain (Michael) of Watkinsville, Georgia, and brother Matthew C. Bole of Watkinsville, Georgia. And then his beautiful grandchildren, Bryce Bole and Madison Bole of Cleveland, Ohio.
Brad leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, kindness, and a life lived on his own terms. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, pets, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. While his absence leaves a tremendous void, there is comfort in knowing that he is finally reunited with his beloved wife, Babette H. Bole.
In keeping with Brad's wishes, instead of services, the family invites those wishing to honor his memory to have a nice meal with loved ones and offer a toast to Brad and Babette. Please offer any donations to your local library or local humane society, or just go see a Boston Red Sox game in person, we all know he'd love that.
