Linda L. Neely, 80, of New Matamoras, Ohio, died Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV. She was born on July 19, 1946, in New Freeport, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Gertrude Bissett Barger. She is survived by one son Rodney Ray (Nora) Neely of New Matamoras, a sister Kittie Long (Roger) of New Martinsville, WV, 12 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren. On September 3, 1963, she married Harold J. Neely who preceded her in death October 23, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by two sons Gerald Edward Neely, Harold J. Neely, Brothers John, David, Patrick, Donald, and Edward Barger, sisters Sude Barger Tustin and Evelyn Barger Boggs. Funeral services will be held at the Hadley Funeral Home in New Matamoras on Wednesday October 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral from 9:00 AM until the time of the services. Burial will follow the services in the Matamoras Cemetery.
