Mildred “Millie” M. Lockhart, 96, of Belpre, passed away October 18, 2026, at the Belpre Landing Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She was born on June 27, 1930, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Orace Lee and Oma May Godfrey.
Millie had worked for Wood County Bank, Jones Meat Packing and for the Sears Department Store. Millie was a member of Mullen Memorial Baptist Church. She was a charter member of the Good Sam RV. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning and bowling.
She is survived by her son Kevin J. Lockhart; sisters-in-law Marjorie Jones of Parkersburg and Geraldine Lockhart of Columbia, SC; special nephews and nieces Jeff Jones (Ruth Cummings) of Little Hocking, Joe Ammons of Oregon, Stephanie Lockhart of SC, Cindie Grove of VA and Faye Bodyke of Logan, OH; and many other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Claude “Jr.” Lockhart.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre, with Pastor Kenneth Fullerton officiating. Entombment will follow at the family property.
