Sharon Ann Anderson, 82, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Her passing leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her deeply.
Sharon was born on July 1, 1944, to Charles E. and Margaret A. Myers of Saint Mary's, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Helen Carpenter. She is survived by her siblings Carol Vaughn (Clark), Tim Myers (Cheryl), Linda Joy (Jack), Michael Myers (Michelle) and Patty Moore.
On May 24, 1975, Sharon married the love of her life, Charles E. "Chuck" Anderson, and together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with family, laughter, travel, and countless memories that will be treasured forever.
Sharon was a woman of faith who found joy in the simple things like enjoying a cup of coffee in her favorite spot on the couch or her front porch. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She proudly loved her WVU Mountaineers, was known as the family's best QVC shopper, enjoyed bowling, and loved traveling with her husband, Chuck. She enjoyed going to concerts, specifically Barry Manilow, Wayne Newton, and her favorite, Clay Aiken.
She was also once deeply involved in her community. Sharon was part of the Welcome Wagon of Wintersville, a member of the Rebecca Lodge of Williamstown, and volunteered her time at East Liverpool Hospital. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamstown, WV. Through her kindness and willingness to help others, she touched many lives.
Sharon and Chuck were blessed with four children: Brent Johnson (Linda) of Follansbee, WV; Kimberly Oliver of East Liverpool, OH; Daniel Johnson (Kristie) of Deltona, FL; and Meredeth Johnson of East Liverpool, OH.
Her grandchildren were among the greatest joys of her life. Sharon loved them fiercely and was so proud of each and every one of them. She leaves behind Dustin Johnson (Kathleen), Brandon Johnson (Darcie), Zachary Oliver (Jaclyn), Mystin Roberts (Matt), Cortney Johnson (Jacob), Taylor Giannamore (Marcus), Brittney Oliver, Cierra Payton (Will), De'jon Hudson, Alexander Johnson and Kaitlyn Johnson.
She was also a proud great-grandmother to Mikayla Childers (fiancé John), Lily Johnson, Allie Oliver, Enzo Giannamore, Vin Oliver, Luca Giannamore and Baby Roberts, lovingly expected in March 2027.
Sharon’s greatest legacy will not be found in the things she owned or the places she traveled, but in the love she gave so freely to her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will continue to live on through the generations.
She will be profoundly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends. Though her family's hearts are broken by her absence, they can find comfort knowing that Sharon was surrounded by those she loved most in her final moments, peacefully at home.
Her love, her laughter, and her memory will remain in their hearts forever.
The family would like to give special thanks to Buckeye Hospice and Palliative Care for their care and compassion during the last 6 months. A very special thanks to Crystal, Kristin, Mo, and Carla.
