Connie B. Rouanzoin, 86, of Waterford, Ohio, died on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Elison Assisted Living in Marietta, Ohio. She was born on June 10, 1940 in Beverly, Ohio, daughter of Sidney A. "Zip" and Francis E. Harr Browning. Connie graduated from Waterford high School in 1957 and later received an Associates Degree at Washington Community College in Marietta. She and her husband Keith owned and operated Cunningham's Confectionary in Waterford for several years and she later worked at Public Dept for several years. All through the years she was a wonderful home maker to her children and grandchildren. She was a long- time member of the Fifth Street Church in Beverly. She was first married on February 8, 1957 to Keith Cunningham who died on September 5, 1983. She was later married on September 29, 1990 to Max Rouanzoin who died on August 29, 2026. Connie is survived by two sons, Dave Cunningham and Connie of Waterford and Gary Cunningham and Maureen of Waterford; three daughters, Cary Huck and Fred of Vincent, Cydnee Bancroft and Tim of Canton and Wendy Riffle and John of Marietta; fifteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren; two stepsons, Donald Rouanzoin and Helen Jump of Atlanta, Georgia and Larry Rouanzoin of Stockport; two brothers, Jerry Browning and Curtis Browning and Faye of Alamogordo, New Mexico; a brother in law, Clem Schwendeman of Waterford and a sister in law, Belle Cunningham of Waterford; and a special caregiver, Tanya Evans. Connie was preceded in death by her husband's; parents; and three sisters, Penny Schwendeman, Linda Schott and Judy Mincks.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Beverly with Pastor Tim Bancroft officiating. Burial will be in the Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm on Monday, November 9, 2026 at the Fifth Street Church of Christ.
