Geraldine E. Hinton, 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Waterford, died on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Kenwood Terrace in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on November 14, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Larry and Francis McCutcheon Miller. After attending Fort Frye High School, she was married to Glenn L. Hinton on June 14, 1964. Glenn died on March 8, 2025. She is survived by her children, Sheila Hinton and Jim of Cincinnati, Debbie Hardesty of Waterford, Scott Hinton and Suzie of Wichita, Kansas, John Hinton and Bobbi of Vincent, Jim Hinton and Christa of Fleming and Patricia Schaad and Rob of Elk River, Minnesota and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband; her adoptive parents, Mont V. and Chloe McCutcheon; a daughter, Brenda Kay Hinton; brothers, Roy, Harold and Mont McCutcheon Jr. and sisters, Lena Nolan, Dorothy Delbrugge, Louella Davis, Gila Garretson and Diana.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Evang. Zack Waite officiating. Friends may call 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family at Waterford Cemetery.
