Steve lived his life on his terms and got more out of life than most of us. He excelled at sports from an early age. Whether it was pitching League baseball, school basketball, YMCA swim team diving and swimming, sky diving, kite surfing, snow skiing, climbing the Via Ferrata in WV 3 times, desert hiking and camping, 100 mile bike rides, boating, kayaking, scuba diving, traveling, or golfing Steve excelled and gave it 100%. He co-owned MVA Builders, Inc a commercial construction company, Scott Construction a residential construction company and designed and owned the original Pioneer Golf Range in Marietta, Ohio.

He was just a great guy and always fun to be with.

The family would like to thank the hospice green team at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida for their excellent care and kindness.

According to Steve's wishes his body is being cremated. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.

“All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
