Unbiased journalism?
What I would like is some unbiased journalism. I looked it up…
Objectivity in journalism aims to help the audience make up their own mind about a story, providing the facts alone and then letting audiences interpret those on their own. …Objective reporting is meant to portray issues and events in a neutral and unbiased manner, regardless of the writer’s opinion or personal beliefs.
I watched five different channels in the hours after the debate and I’m ashamed to say that four of those stations? It was glaringly obvious what ticket they support.
They had 4-5 guests to debate, pick apart and highlight their candidate’s best moment. All from the same side. In a fair, unbiased reporting scenario they could have had an equal amount of guests from the other side.
I choose not to discuss the political part of the debate, this post is directed at the newsmakers. Inform the people about both candidates, not just the piece that might make your candidate look good. Be fair and let us make up our own minds.
