Zonta Club of the MOV would like to thank the community for their support of the Delicates for Dignity fundraiser in October. We raised funds to purchase feminine hygiene products, undies and bras for EVE, Inc. and Gospel Mission Food Pantry.
A big thank you to those who participated as sponsors in our bra art competition. Elizabeth Fulton, Merrill Group LLC, Advantage Real Estate, Jeremiah's Coffee House and Bonnie Bolen for decorating themed bras that were displayed at Jeremiah's Coffee House. Also to the Marietta Community Foundation for their donation of funds through the Helping Hands and Heart Fund. At our luncheon our speaker Tina Vincent from Eve, Inc. gave an informative presentation on human trafficking in our area. We wish to thank her for sharing her insight on this unfortunate plight.
We look forward to seeing the community at our Unique Boutique Clothing Sale Nov. 12-13 at the Reno Community Center. We will accept donations of the gently used men's, women's, and children's clothing, shoes, purses, coats and accessories Nov. 8-11 from 5-8 p.m. at the Reno Community Center. Check our Facebook page for more details or contact 740-516-2261.
