St. John Central 2021 Gala Thank You

On Nov. 20, 2021, the St. John Central Home and School Association welcomed guests for our third St. John Central Gala. The proceeds from the Gala support the ongoing operation of St. John Central School, located in Churchtown, Ohio.

Guests this year enjoyed appetizers and entrees by Big Food, Little Kitchen and extravagant desserts provided by St. John Central parents and Lisa’s Sweet Stop of Beverly, Ohio. Entertainment was provided by Anthony Mossberg who did a fabulous job with his acoustic set.

We’d like to thank our sponsors again who, year over year, are willing to support our community and school. Thank you EZG Manufacturing, Lang Masonry and Restoration Contractors, Discount Signs & Awnings, Lang Financial, Newton Insurance, Force Electric, Schilling Truss, Heiss Plumbing & Electric, Bosner Plumbing & Electric, Knights of Columbus Council #4617, NAPA Auto, Appletree Assisted Living and Ken and Cindy Pottmeyer for your sponsorship.

This year, guests participated in a live auction led by Keelan McLeish and Brandon Wheeler of McLeish Auction Services. All auction items were provided by: Wainwright’s Fine Jewelry, Big Food Little Kitchen, E&L Gamebirds LLC of Watertown, B&W Pharmacy, Ken and Cindy Pottmeyer, Dave and Tammy Pottmeyer, Anthony Kearns Guns, You Unlimited and Peace, Love, Beautiful of Marietta.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Carolyn Hiener for providing guests the opportunity to take home photos to document the night. Also, thank you to Steve Wainwright for stepping in with the right joke at the right time.

Our parent volunteers were exceptional again this year. From planning, to decorating, setup and cleanup, a huge thank you for devoting your time and energy to making St. John Central shine!

Last but not least, we’d like to thank each and every ticket holder and guest for providing support to our school. We truly appreciate your generosity!

We look forward to seeing you at the 2022 Gala next November!
