On behalf of the Washington County Harvest of Hope Board, I would like to thank all who contributed to a recent benefit for Ron Hazelton. Ron has been a faithful board member and a volunteer at the free community breakfast for nearly four years. Ron is battling a serious illness which can be very expensive even with good insurance.
The benefit showed Ron and Bobbi the love and support that is needed to combat such an illness. To paraphrase a line from St. Jude's Hospital "no family should have to worry about the bills - it's worry enough to combat the illness."
