Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone that came out in support of our annual ice cream social held this year on Aug. 6.
This year we featured the band Phase 2, our famous chicken dinners, homemade desserts from our community, ice cream, hot dogs, pizza, lemon shakes, inflatables and gun raffles.
We also had several beautiful quilts made and donated by talented quilters in our area that were raffled off. Due to the generosity of our local businesses, we were able to provide a well-stocked country store.
As a department, many of our members work tirelessly to make this event an enjoyable experience, however, our social would not be as successful as it is without the help of our many friends, fellow brothers and sisters and our Oak Grove community.
We greatly appreciate the support that we get from everyone whether it be your time and/or donations.
Once again, thank you very much for your continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone the 1st Saturday of August 2023 for more food, fun and fellowship.
