Congressman Bill Johnson continues to fight for what is best for the people of Southeast Ohio. He truly is our representative and makes certain that our voice is heard in Washington D.C.
Rep. Johnson is fighting to repel Obamacare. Everyone in Southeastern Ohio knows it has done nothing but make healthcare more expensive and less available. It has been a public policy disaster and hurt the working families of this community most of all.
Rep. Johnson is fighting for our energy independence, whether through liquefied natural gas exports or drilling on state and federal lands, he is committed to increasing domestic production. Just a few short years ago we were energy independent, today our President begs Venezuela and Saudi Arabia to produce more. Our money and our jobs go overseas, while we pay more for energy we could produce and keep those jobs here.
So-called environmentalists don't care about the environment -- they care about power. If Democrats truly cared about the environment, they would encourage domestic production where we have some of the strictest environmental safeguards in the world. Clean burning natural gas is better for our environment, better for our community and better for our country. Instead, Joe Biden begs Venezuela and empowers Russia.
Rep. Johnson is fighting for fair, honest and transparent elections. Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Stacy Abrams only cry foul when they lose. Our Board of Elections and our Secretary of State do a wonderful job of having fair elections in Ohio. But our vote is diluted if other states cheat. Rep. Johnson believes firmly in the principle of one person, one vote, and that every legally cast ballot should count. But individuals who are not citizens and individuals who aren't registered should not vote.
Rep. Johnson fights for Southeast Ohio. He fights for our values, and he fights for us. I hope you vote for him in November.
