Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. proved by example that thriving communities where citizens help one another and strive to live happier and more productive lives are possible. Through their volunteerism during the 2023 National Day of Service, the Marietta College Baseball Team demonstrated another reason why we love Marietta, Ohio.
Marietta College Head Baseball Coach, Brian Brewer, and assistant coaches Chad Langley and Mike Mulvey set the standard of service as they and the nationally recognized team of forty student-athletes cleaned and organized inside and outside the Children's Toy and Doll Museum, 206 Gilman Avenue. The all-volunteer museum affords educational and entertainment tools to enhance the communities of Harmar, Marietta, and beyond; these volunteers helped the premises become even more inviting.
The MC baseball coaches and the hard-working and delightful players again validated that we can help one another in our community and have a great time doing so.
